This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My English Language Learners (ENL) would greatly a charging station to have technology access at all times.

My students come from a low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Many times they do not have someone to sit with them in the evening to perfect their skills. Many of our parents are recent immigrants and are working multiple jobs, so they depend on the school and the school staff to provide all academic interventions and materials.

In my classroom we study reading and writing and all my students are English language learners!

Life is very challenging for them and their families due to language limitations and poverty!

Our school operates on a very limited budget and funding is very scarce!

All my students deserve to have beautiful materials!

They are eager to learn new concepts and my class will greatly benefit from any materials they are given.

My Project

My students are very motivated to use technology. Many do not have access to technology at home Unfortunately, most of them only come in contact with it while they are in school because having access to the internet is a privilege for most of them.

Having a charging station will ensure that the technology that we do have will always be charged.The charging station will help us organize and maintain our electronic equipment charged and ready to go at all times.

This way my students will always have their tablets charged and give my students the opportunity to have technology at their hands so that they can benefit from many educational websites and computer based programs that address their independent needs.

If you choose to donate to this project, you will be helping my students improve their reading, and writing skills. You will also open the door for them to explore the world and keep up with current technology demands.
