My Project
My students are a bright and energetic group! I teach Social Studies and Art, and travel to each class when we have our lessons. I work from a small room which is shared with a physical therapist who also uses the space for their student sessions. Students are in our room daily, and often sit in our chairs to relax when they require a break. I have been using the same, used chair for the last five years. It is falling apart, and also wobbles on its sides making it difficult to sit without fear of falling to one side. I would appreciate being able to sit in a chair that we are not at risk of falling out of. Our students will benefit from this chair also since they not only use it for brain breaks, but also because they like to sit and spin in it as a reward for completing their tasks. Additionally, it is much safer to have them sit in a chair that is sturdy and does not wobble on its sides.
For this project, I am asking for an ergonomic desk chair that my students and I can use to promote healthy bodies and enhance student happiness and productivity.
I am always looking for ways I can be the best teacher for my students. Please help me give them a chair that we can use to encourage happiness and productivity in their learning.
