My Project
As a special education teacher I work with students with a wide array of needs. In order for students to be willing to learn they first need to know they are in a safe space. The materials on my list will support students in their physical, emotional and social needs.
Students love choices!
Fidgets support my students with channeling their energy and focusing on the task at hand. Pillows and the carpet will refresh our reset corner when students are dysregulated and allow for choice seating during class.
My goal for this project is that students come into my classroom with confidence that they will be taken care of, celebrated and that, in turn, they will feel comfortable enough to take risks and bring their learning to the next level.
