This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are 4th-6th graders that need large motor activities throughout the day. Large motor activities help them get back on track and focus on their academics.

They are eager to learn but when sensory output is needed it makes it a very difficult to focus on their work.

These items will be offered daily, when needed, to help support their sensory needs especially when recess is cancelled due to weather.

I want to give them the ability to get the movement their body needs in order to calm themselves.
