A Carpet of Dreams

My students need a new rug for daily use in school.

My Students

The carpet of dreams in our room is extremely filthy. After inheriting this carpet, 10 plus years is enough time for a carpet such as the one we have inherited.

My students are dreamers who are eager to learn, grow, soar.

Our daily mantra states... we can do anything we set our minds to. They practice this mantra daily eagerly completing daily assignments, that were explained on the carpet. My students reside in a poverty stricken area, which will soon house a half way house, now being built, lacks a neighborhood hospital and many daycare centers have closed down. Noticing the disappointments in the area, it would be great to have them reside in a safe, clean haven since we are together from 8am - 3pm daily.

My Project

All of our daily subjects are taught on the carpet. We can come together, and experience a clean environment where we will be able to focus on our studies. My students will be able to socialize within our community on a nice clean surface where many of them love to create their best work.

My students help me at times spot clean the carpet, but we notice the stains remain.

We sanitize our hands constantly due to many germ scares, however, when it comes to the carpet we can't seem to avoid utilizing it, because this is where we must be in order to perform our best work. Knowing my students would be able to think, and create in a clean environment is a great feeling.
