Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, kind, and eager to learn my students are. They come to the library excited to explore new stories and grow as readers.
However, our space could use a little more comfort to help them truly settle in and focus.
These 3x5 carpets will give each student a personal, cozy place to sit during reading time. Whether they're diving into a new chapter book or listening to a story, having a soft spot to call their own will help them feel safe, calm, and ready to learn.
