My Project

I was inspired to start this project because of a student that I had this year and I wanted to do something to support future students. I want students to have a judgment-free zone so they can grab items that they need without question.

The purpose of this closet is to help empower students to get what they need to stay in school without embarrassment or judgment.

We are a k-8 school and this would be for all grade levels. When kids come to school, they do not have to worry about being hungry or having an accident, because this closet would be available for them whenever they need it.

Often times students are sent home because they do not have a change of clothes, by having this closet and these items we can keep kids in school!

This is also going to be our Second-grade community service project as we will also be creating some bags to hand out to the homeless. Helping both our school community and the community we live in!
