My Students
My third graders are creative, inspiring, innovative, and active. I am so grateful to spend my day learning alongside them. These students are involved in so many activities inside and outside of school, both in the community and outside. Our school itself, is a low-income school, in a rural community.
My students are eager to try new things and use their passions for good, and that's why I believe it's my job to give them the education they deserve to receive.
Our class is made up of so many dreamers and inventors, and I can't wait to see where the world takes them.
My Project
Several students in the classroom benefit from having flexible seating in the classroom. I'm anxious to introduce another wobble stool, and add to the calm down space in the classroom.
These additions will help to keep students engaged and focused during the school day.
The clay materials will help to spark creativity within our Makerspace time each week. The clay was a hit last year, and I can't wait to see what fun uses it will provide this year!
Lastly, students will make great use out of the dry erase materials. These re-usable materials will help to spark engagement in our lessons, and will help to vary instruction. I'm excited to use them for assessment and for presentations.
