This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
High School students are subject to an immense amount of stress. Academics, social adjustments, familial responsibilities, and planning next steps can be overwhelming.
Help provide an area for students to take a break from it all and find their center.
A pair of comfortable lounge chairs will provide an escape for them to reset. Calm lighting and sounds of water flowing create an ambiance that will support students ability to calm and center themselves so they can be ready to mentally and physically tackle the next hurdle that comes their way.
