A Calming Corner: A Safe Space for Sensory Needs

My Project

My students are amazing, diverse learners who sometimes need a quiet place to reset and self-regulate. Many of them experience sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or difficulties with focus, making it essential to have a designated calming space in our classroom.

A Calming Corner will give them a peaceful area where they can take a break when feeling overwhelmed.

By supporting this project, you’re giving my students a safe space to de-stress, refocus, and feel emotionally supported in their learning journey. Thank you for helping create an environment where all students can thrive emotionally and academically!
