My Project
I provide speech/language services to students with developmental disorders. My students are amazing kids who love to learn and interact with their classmates and teachers. They sometimes struggle with transitioning between classrooms, changes to their daily routines, and controlling their emotions. These times should be used as teachable moments where the student can go to a safe space while they regulate their emotions. We need new materials to update and upgrade our safe space for my students to engage, interact, and learn as they relax in their cozy space.
Time for an update!
The comfortable bean bags and sensory rug will engage the students and redirect their attention to a more positive and peaceful experience. The strategically placed resources, such as books for STEM learning, posters, and STEM sensory toys, will provide a safe and interactive learning environment. Thank you for supporting our classroom.
