A Calm Down-Comfort Corner

Help me give my students a Calm down-Comfort Corner. This will provide a space in which students feel safe, can learn to recognize their emotions and regulating their emotions in a healthy way.

My Project

My classroom is filled with General students, students with mild to moderate reading disabilities and students from the severe unit. Students in my classroom have been identified to have high stress, anxiety, depression and social emotional deficits. The butterfly chairs will be placed near book shelves full of books and activities to help students learn while they calm down, or destress away from the main classroom.

By donating to our project, you will help students learn to self regulate, manage behavior and build social emotional skills in a safe place.
