Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help in giving my students the requested toddler toys to use as book buddies to help and motivate them to read. Each Little People or Car would be used for them to read to when learning how to read and improving their fluency.
The goal is for each student to get a "reading buddy" and a finger pointer to help them out when learning their letter sounds, syllables and eventually learning to read words.
Each one of my students would use their little buddy to help motivate them and help in aid in improving their self esteem when learning how to read. Often students are embarrassed when learning how to read because not everyone learns at the same rate, so the buddy would help in making sure that they don't have these feelings.
