A Bucket Full of Adventure

My Project

I have an awesome group of first graders who have been working very hard this year. They love to explore and engage in hands-on learning. I would love to send them off at the end of the school year with a sand bucket filled with tools to keep them learning and exploring throughout the summer break.

My hope is that my students will spend time with their families exploring nature and being creative while they practice the skills we have learned throughout the year.

The dice will be used to play math games. The sunglasses, visors and bug nets will be used to explore the outdoors. Then, they can use the bug magnifier and journals to make and write their observations. The jump rope is to help the kids continue to exercise throughout the summer months.

My students will be genuinely excited to receive these items that will keep them motivated to learn all summer long!
