This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our schools is located in South Los Angeles. As the college advisor to our 12th grade seniors, many of our students are in the middle of the biggest transition of their life thus far, going to college. Our students are all college bound and have been working hard on applications and now are seeing their acceptances grow. Our seniors never thought about going to college and had doubts, but as the year progressed they are now admitted and ready to make a brighter future. May 31st is our admission day celebration and part of it means giving our students educational prizes. These items will be used to give to our students to help their transition and success in college. With your help, our students can begin living a brighter future.
