My Project
My classroom has no windows, which can make the space feel dim, harsh, and closed-in. I want to transform it into a more inviting and calming place for my students by adding fluorescent light covers that look like the sky with clouds. These light filters soften the glare of overhead lights and create the feeling of natural light. This can help reduce eye strain, increase focus, and support a more peaceful learning environment, especially for students who are sensitive to bright, artificial lighting.
In addition to improving the lighting, I am requesting a rolling file organizer cart to help keep our classroom materials neat and easily accessible.
Right now, papers and folders often pile up, making it hard for students to find what they need. With this cart, we’ll have a dedicated space for organizing assignments, handouts, and important resources. Together, these simple changes will make our classroom brighter, more comfortable, and better organized—helping all students feel more at home and ready to learn.
