My Students

My students are Special Education students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. They are bright, energetic students who want to learn. I am eager to see what great things these students will do this year. I have so many grade levels that come into my room for resource time.

The students who come into my classroom are from middle class backgrounds and they need to have the opportunity to learn.

The school is a public school with wonderful teachers, just not a lot in the budget for things we really need!

My Project

I teach Special Education students and reading is very difficult for them! They need hands on learning experiences and the BrightStart! program is just what we need!

The BrightStart!

kits have a little of everything to help teach those hard to reach students. My students will be able to learn their letters and simple reading skills. It is important to have the tools that my students need to help them succeed.

It takes a village to help schools, teachers, and students, get what they need to have a successful school year. I appreciate people like you who are considering my project.
