My Project
In the upcoming school year, my students are in need of a new Calm Corner. Over the past few school years, my students have always loved a place to just sit and take a moment to relax during challenging moments. Sometimes it can be as simple as hugging a stuffed animal or sitting for a few quiet moments.
All kids need a classroom space where they can feel comfortable decompressing and gathering their emotions. Bean bags are a great space to just sink in to and take away all your worries. The calm corner not only provides comfort for challenging moments but has become a reward space for students too.
This classroom project was brought to life by The Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation
