A Book Nook to Get Lost In!

My Students

My third-grade class this year is one of the greatest groups of kids I have had in my seven years of teaching. They are eager to learn! They are fascinated with new concepts are constantly inquiring more about the topics we learn. Not only do they love learning, but they are becoming wonderful citizens of our community. They check in on each other, help others when they need it and go above and beyond each school day.

My Project

As a new teacher at this school, I have had to rummage around to find book storage. I have random shelving units to house our books. Unfortunately what I have is not enough for all of the books in our classroom library. A uniform storage system will help my students find books easily as well as learn how to correctly put books away. Furthermore, I can use these pieces to create special areas in our classroom that feel like cozy little book nooks for my students to get lost in their books!
