My Students

I teach at a very special school in a large urban district. What makes us special? Our students, of course! Our students love to read and they read a lot.

These readers have read from a fabulous canyon of fine literature.

They read from all genres. They have favorite authors. They discuss and write about their reading with the passion. They join me in a good cry at the end of a particularly sad read aloud. These kids are crazy about​ books.

My Project

My students love to read and I love to match them with books to keep them reading. But you need a lot of books to keep ALL kids reading. You need a variety of authors, genres, and levels to be able to reach every reader. That's mu job. To make sure every student has a stack of books they WANT to read. And I love doing it.

So help me fight the battle to reduce screen time with great books.

These books will entice the most reluctant of readers and book lovers will enjoy them too! Getting kids to read is all about finding the right book.
