Help me give my students a classroom library that engages, inspires and delights. These books will be read aloud to our entire class.

My Project
Every morning I read a picture book to my students. My students thrive on our daily read aloud routine--it helps us build our literacy skills, social-emotional skills, and gives us strong, collective experiences. These picture books will give my students an outlet for their imaginations, feelings and satisfy our academic and social-emotional needs
There are so many amazing books in this project.
There are books that mirror and uplift my students' experiences, like "The Ofrenda That We Built" and "Freedom Braids." I've also included books that will make us think, like "The Next Scientist: The Unexpected Beginnings and Unwritten Future of the World's Great Scientists." And I've chosen books that will make us laugh, like "Mr. Fox's Game of No."
These are books that we need in our classroom. Students will be able to see themselves represented and put themselves in other's shoes as they listen to these books. My students will be inspired, engaged, and positively impacted.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
