My Project
I am so excited about my students this year! Not only do I get the opportunity to work with my students from last year, but I get to work with them in the most exciting grade in Elementary school (5th grade!) They are so enthusiastic about learning and that’s what makes it easy to come in and teach them!!!
For our classroom library, we had an issue with organization last year.
This year, I want to implement a better way to keep our library area organized and clean by using bins for our pillows and seating. I also will use storage bin for bigger books that couldn’t quite fit on the shelves.
With over 70 students, I will need storage for classroom supplies. Many students did not have their own supplies (such as crayons, markers, glue and scissors), so I want to create a space where they can grab those items whenever they need to. This is where the storage bins come in. Not only for my students, but for myself as well.
Lastly, recess equipment was hard to come by last year. My students only had 2 soccer balls (one was flat) and 1 basketball to share. Again, I had over 70 students. Any playground equipment would be a wonderful and much needed addition to our community.

I work in a special area, with many students in my school who are military affiliated, while others are under the poverty line. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!
