My students need take home books for their very specific and different reading levels. Research says children should have at least 750-1000 books in their classrooms available to them! That is a LOT of books!

My Students
My students are excited to begin their first year of school as kindergarten students. They are nervous, excited, antsy, and full of energy. They are perfectly unique and have just the right amount of energy for typical five and six year old bodies.
My students are eager to learn and begin the process of school in a fresh, energizing, and colorful atmosphere.
My goal is to do my best to provide this for them all! I want to encourage stamina. Reading everyday with every student is my dream!
My Project
With this project, I am hoping I can provide an organized, leveled book program that allows each student in my class to take home a new leveled reader every night and give them every opportunity to be successful readers.
This book cart will allow students to read daily and be read to daily and have an easy system for me to manage as well.
The cart will easily store all the books needed for the students as well as give me or a volunteer the chance to read a book with a student who may not be reading at home. The paper and ink will allow me to affordably print leveled books for the students without having to take books from my limited leveled readers that I use for instruction.
