My Project

Our students need updated books about the human body and anatomy. Some of our books are very old and a few got damaged this summer under the sink when we put everything in storage for Covid to clean the school. Our books have been well loved but we need new ones. Students love learning about the human body and our body systems.

We use these books to make giant full body posters about the body systems.

Each team focuses on one system for a few days. When finished, all groups have a large poster session where we educate one another. Updated and undamaged books are just one part of the learning materials that our students get excited about.

Students love to learn about how our human body works and discover a lot about themselves when we do this. The students feel safe asking questions about normal body functions and also conduct disease research.

We could use updated books that aren't damaged and have advanced level information for our honors students and appropriate grade level books for our general science class. Thank you for considering!
