This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is home to many bright and hardworking students, a significant number of whom come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Many of these children face daily food insecurity, which greatly impacts their ability to focus, learn, and succeed in the classroom.
To help support our students, we are seeking donations of non-perishable food items and healthy snacks that can be provided during the school day.
Access to nutritious food will not only help our students stay focused but will also contribute to their overall well-being and academic performance.
Your generous donation would make a tremendous difference in the lives of these students.
Any contribution, big or small, will be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward ensuring that no child in our classroom has to learn on an empty stomach. We would also be happy to acknowledge your generosity within our school community.
