This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a welcoming rug, name tags for our daily lunch count, Lysol spray and wipes to keep the room germ free, and Velcro dots to use on our laminated activities. When you enter the classroom, it is nice to have a splash of color on the floor, rather than white floor tiles. The rug will be a place to wipe our feet on rainy days and the rug will add a pop of color to make the room more cheerful! We will use the Lysol spray and Clorox wipes to clean the tables, doorknobs, and generally keep the room as germ-free as possible. The magnetic name tags will be used for our lunch count. Each day the students move their nametags to show if they are getting lunch in the cafeteria or if they have a lunchbox from home. The nametags are a great way for me to quickly see who needs to bring their lunchboxes to the cafeteria. The Velcro dots will be used with our laminated games and activities. They can Velcro the pieces onto the gameboard so they won't fall off so easily in case someone bumps the board. All of these odds and ends will help us in our classroom. Thank you for your support!!
