This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year I am super excited about welcoming new students in my first grade classroom. I want our classroom to be a beautiful, comfortable, and cozy place where we all belong and learn. However, it is a bit challenging to materialize all my ideas if I don't have the resources and help I need.
For this specific project I would like to obtain a couple of essential items that would definitely make our classroom look and feel great!
As you know keeping a classroom clean is super important, that is why I am requesting some disinfectant wipes, Kleenex tissues, and also some Band-Aids because small accident always happen in first grade. Also I am requesting some string lights and a lamp to help my students stay focused and calm, markers, journals, and some decoration items, a new small rug, and some storage boxes to make our classroom and classroom library look more colorful and organized.
Last but not least I included in my list some small toys and prizes that I will use to fill up our treasure box and motivate my students to follow the expectations by getting individual points during the week and a cute little prize every Friday. Thank you in advance for supporting students to create the learning space our kids deserve.
