Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to give my students a classroom where students are motivated to learn and grow every day. The bulletin board decorations will reflect the themes students will be learning in our new literacy curriculum. I believe that an encouraging learning environment will help students to activate prior knowledge and solidify their new learning.
A friendly learning environment is the one where ALL students can learn, take risks, and feel motivated to achieve higher goals.
The bulletin boards will illustrate students' learning and instigate new discoveries and curiosity.
The calm stickers combined with breathing can hep children to release the stress and anxiety and concentrate in their learning. Students will have access to the stickers so they will be able to release pressure anytime, anywhere. They respect students' privacy and do not distract students around them.
Every student should receive the resources necessary for them to acquire learning skills. If some children need more to achieve educational success, they should receive it.
We need to make sure that personal and social circumstances are not obstacles holding back children in high-need schools. Thank you for your generosity!
