Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have wanted to use the ceramic wheels with my students for years, but the bats & other equipment are so worn they've not had the opportunity to do so.
These "replacement" tools will allow my students to effectively use the ceramic wheels so they get a decent ceramic experience prior to high school.
My students are amazing and deserving of this experience. They will be able to understand basic wheel throwing basics such as centering and other practical uses of a pottery wheel. Help give my students bats and other wheel throwing supplies and enrich their middle school visual arts experience.
