My Project

My high school film & media production students are some of the most creative and passionate young storytellers I’ve had the privilege to teach. They eagerly take on new challenges, from mastering cinematography techniques to capturing the energy of school events. However, they need more hands-on opportunities to apply their skills in real-world settings. A 360 photo booth would provide an exciting, interactive way for them to enhance their media production experience while also giving back to the school community. This cutting-edge technology will allow them to experiment with dynamic camera movement, event photography, and immersive storytelling—all essential skills in today’s media landscape.

With this 360 photo booth, my students will not only learn technical filmmaking skills like framing, lighting, and motion capture, but also gain valuable experience in event production and content creation.

They’ll be responsible for setting up and operating the booth at school events, such as proms, graduation ceremonies, and pep rallies, providing their peers with professional-quality keepsakes. This hands-on experience will help them develop teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of audience engagement—critical aspects of any media career. Additionally, the booth’s interactive nature will spark their creativity, allowing them to experiment with new ways to tell visual stories.

What makes my students special is their dedication to bringing stories to life. Many of them are eager to pursue careers in media, and I want to give them the tools to turn their passion into real-world experience. By funding this project, you’re not just providing a piece of equipment—you’re empowering the next generation of filmmakers and content creators.
