My Students
Hello everyone. I am a Pre-K teacher who has a group of wonderful children that loves music! They have creative abilities to make music from clapping their hands to stomping their feet. My kids make rhyming words sing! I love my class and I would love for them to experience music in every way possible. Music allows children to release stress, and during these Pandemic times, music will be a fun and beneficial way to help. If you’re reading this, I thank you for that.
My Project
These materials will make a difference by teaching my children the wonderful music that’s created by different Cultures. My children will learn the similarities and differences of music through sounds and sights. Musical instruments will be used to create repetitive sounds because repetitive sounds encourages counting and enhances listening skills. The instruments chosen will bring about awareness of diversity, and hopefully plant seeds of wanting to continue educating themselves about music when they are older. Learning beats and rhythms will transcend from the classroom to home. It’s an ongoing learning process
