This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will supports students with diverse learning habits, needs, and interests. Not all students come to high school reading on grade level. Therefore, by providing students with a range of independent reading text to engage in at their zone of proximal development, students can raise their reading level. These texts expose students to vocabulary and sentence structure that supports their academic needs and meets them where they are ready to learn. Please help support me in bringing independent reading to ALL of my students, not just those at grade level.
