Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will use the items to help them build their understanding of geometry and spatial awareness. We will use the felt pens to graph transformations. The posters will help students memorize key concepts in our grade.
The technology and hands on model pieces will help students be actively engaged in math class.
All of these things will contribute to our vibrant and engaging math classroom, where my students will feel excited to learn, collaborate, and communicate their mathematical thinking each and every day in our classroom. My students will appreciate the attention to detail that will come from these items.
After the main lesson we often do hands on activities, student draw or build. The Lego set will help students build their attention to detail and spacial awareness. Many students like to draw, and this tablet will help students be able to draw, and digitize their creations.
