This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This prize box will motivate my 8th grade students to demonstrate positive behaviors. I use Class Dojo to track positive behaviors such as being early to class, collaborating with peers, working hard, persistence, and more. Middle schoolers often have a hard time making good decisions so instituting this tracking system has been very helpful for them.
Students need prizes they are excited about in order to motivate them to earn Class Dojo points.
Students will redeem the points they earn for prizes. With a wide variety of prizes, I can appeal to all students.
