8th Grade + Common Core + Storage Bins = Success, Part 2
My students need storage bins for sharing books due to limited space in the classroom as well as save time by having texts readily available and at arm's reach.
This project expired on December 6, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My incoming 8th graders were bursting at the seams on the last day of school knowing they were going to now be the "leaders" of the school and bragging rights to go along with it. One student said, "Si Se Puede" and you are the teacher who will remind us of what we are capable of accomplishing.
My kids are full of life and are all looking forward to applying for high school and as one said, "spreading our wings and flying away to new and bigger adventures."
I want to keep that enthusiasm and optimistic energy going which means that as their teacher, I need to get a little creative and crazy right along with them so I don't 'burn out' that light of hope they are all oozing.
This request is part 2 of another grant I wrote.....I desperately need text bins for storing, circulating, and saving time since each class period is 75 minutes long and I am to cover both English Language Arts and Writing during this time. My students need storage bins for sharing books due to limited space in the classroom as well as save time by having texts readily available and at arm's reach.
My classroom is not that large so any storage space I can find as well as help facilitate my classes and the positive flow is much desired.
Common Core State Standards plus eager students, willing to learn and come to school 8th graders is a task in itself.
Help me prepare our next generation by funding my project ....storage bins.
