My Students
My students are a wonderful group of 8th graders who I had the pleasure of teaching in 6th grade as well. The switch is still a shock for me but I am excited to have this great group of kiddos all over again!
With the switch being so last minute, and my classroom changing, I am in need of assistance in creating an atmosphere comfortable for my kids.
I am looking to expand their love for English Language Arts and Literature by starting a reading corner and expanding their classroom library. I’d like to provide a few seating alternatives to encourage students to be comfortable and take charge of their learning.
Any and all donations are appreciated and welcomed!
My Project
Classroom Novels - I’ve bought several sets for our classroom library but we could always use a few more! You can never have too many books.
We will be using the following items: Flash Furniture Metal Indoor/Outdoor Bar Table Set with 2 Barstools Black, Elite Classic Large Bean Bag and the Feizy Isleta Art Silk Shag Pile Contemporary Rug
Since the switch to eighth grade happened so fast, and the room is painted differently - it needs a few more seating options. By having a few alternate seating options (because I already have some round tables with chairs and some desks), this optimizes their learning experience and makes them feel more safe and comfortable.
I already have in the room: wall posters, ceiling decor, large book shelves, and a small floor table stand.
