Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love the excitement my students get when its lab day. The curiosity they have seeing the materials I have set up around the classroom. These materials make a difference in their learning because they are able to explore science phenomenon's in action.

Blow dryers will be used throughout Unit 2: dynamic Earth, to model weathering, erosion and deposition.

Owl pellets will be used for our ecosystem unit to understand food chains. Blow dryers will help us simulate weathering, erosion and deposition. Inner bike tubes will be used to help with understanding pressure and how it plays an important role in student’s lives.

Lightbulbs would be used in various labs to observe and quantify the rate of photosynthesis. Students will use the bike tubes to explore Charles' law. These materials will continue to enhance our classroom learning.
