Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The transition from elementary school to middle school can be challenging. We hope to slowly ease the transition with our new students with our new Lion Taming days. Students will be engaged in team-building activities, scavenger hunts, and learning about the expectations in our middle school.

Parachutes, potato sacks, pool noodles, and all the other items on this list will be used for small teambuilding activities, as well as assembly-style games!

This is a great opportunity for our students to get to know our school culture while building a strong community.

Our students come from diverse at-risk backgrounds; this equipment would support their development beyond the curriculum. We hope to build a sense of belonging and community that could make a huge difference in our students' lives.
