This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to make STEAM learning as interdisciplinary and engaging as possible for my scholars. The science and math books on this list will help widen students' ideas and investigations as scientists and mathematicians.

Students in sixth grade will be able to think more creatively and critically as they explore these books, learning more about their potential in the fields.

As a first year teacher, I am eager to engage with students in meaningful ways that further their curiosity and passion for science and math. I am hopeful that with your help, I will be able to support these 6th graders in questioning the world around them!
