Help me give my students the literature organizers and bookcase to organize their classroom space, books that will help grow and satisfy their curiosity, and stools and other items to help teach life science, math, and U.S. history.

My Project

In this project, I have asked for an assortment of materials to help in classroom organization, provide an increased hands-on learning environment, and create a collection of books to for a small library of American history books which students can enjoy.

For our life science classes, I have asked for cell models students can play with.

Sixth graders learn well when their education is blended with play, and I believe these cell models can provide that. For the same reason, I am asking for geometric shapes to help with learning math We would also like to decorate the classroom with math-themed poster aids. I get to teach 6th grade U.S. History at our school, so I am asking for a series of books to help expand both my own knowledge and that of my students.

Last, we believe that students should have some adapted furniture to help move, either due to hyperactive symptoms of a disability or simply because 6th graders are still young, energetic, and need to move. This is why we would like wobble stools and wiggle seats.
