Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will allow my current students to create and care for a garden to grow the sprouts into plants that are ready to be harvested.

The following year my incoming students will look forward to caring for and harvesting the fruits and vegetables that were grown over the summer and from the previous year by the last class.

They will be a to see the plant life cycle start to finish as well as eat the harvest, contributing to our no-waste classroom we try to create

They will then start the cycle over again and give their Spring sprouts to the incoming class the following year. The supplies will go to starting this project and continuing its growth. They will use the galvanized tubs and soil to build the start of our garden. We already have 20 small plants ready to transplant!
