My Project
Be part of the successful launch of our very first, 6th grade, Career Wax Museum project! These project boards will be the basis for our two 6th grade classes Wax Museum presentation, which will be proudly displayed for all classes in our school and parents to see throughout a special, designated day this spring.
My goal is to provide the most expensive portion of supplies that will be needed, as we are a Title 1 school, and many of our students' families face barriers in supplying needed items.
These project boards will be used to display the research each student will have completed to show fellow elementary students, as well as their parents, what career they may be interested in pursuing after high school. As part of their college and career unit, this will be months in the making. Our hope is that they will have the means to proudly display information such as a day in the life of their career, what education is needed to make their career come to fruition, as well as the history of why their careers exists. This will not just benefit our 6th graders, but hopefully begin to educate and spark curiosity our younger students about what their futures have the potential of becoming.
Our students here at Trent are special because they have the determination and the drive to take on this project, which are not only beneficial but critical, as they move forward being the inaugural class to take part in our first career Wax Museum!
