My Students
My students are energetic and intellectually curious. My students are brilliant and hard-working. These children have unlimited potential for good, and I want to help empower them to achieve their dreams. They come from a broad variety of backgrounds, and they have so much to offer each other by working collaboratively.
My students do not have access to the technology that they need to gain high demand skills for college and careers.
My students need to be able to have access to some level of technology in order to learn how to research and present information. They need to become more fluent with basic software such as the Microsoft Office Suite. My students all have access to all that Microsoft has to offer, they just do not have any devices in order to use that access.
In order to help my students learn Spanish, and prepare for their future, I try to include as much technology into my class as possible. Students write their own children's books, do research projects, and present their research in Spanish to their peers.
My Project
My students will be doing various projects next year using the Chromebooks that were generously donated to my classroom. In order to do the projects successfully, I will need one laptop at each of my six tables.
I am one Chromebook short to be able to let all of my students participate in the projects we will do in class next year.
I am so excited for them to use Microsoft Office software to research and present information, and to publish Spanish language articles in their school newspaper!
This last Chromebook will open up opportunities so that all of my students can learn and grow together.
