My Students
My kids are characters! Big hearts, big smiles, and excited to learn! They are bright and hard working!
Many of my students are ELLs and come from lower-income families.
They come from diverse families, some are new to the country, and many deal with a lot of problems at a young age. They are so full of possibilities and hope. I want them to have a classroom where they feel safe, confident, and are empowered in their learning.
Every child deserves the best in their education.
My Project
My 5th Graders love when they can really get involved in the learning process with hands on experiments! We have moved to the new science standards and my class is in need of new science kits to support the standards.
Hands on, turns minds on and is a powerful way to help my students learn and understand science!
I am excited to help my student understand engineering with the earthquake simulation kit! The ideas from the water and earth science kits will give my students opportunities to explore and discover. My wiggly kids need options for flexible seating in my classroom! The Big Joe chairs will be used throughout the day for all types of learning! I use flexible seating during whole class and small group instruction!
