This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach all of the 5th graders at my school STEM and I am always looking for fun resources to expand their learning and experiences before moving to middle school. We focus on Ecosystems, Earth Systems, and Protecting Earths Resources.
I also concentrate on SEL and 21st century skills to help them excel in school as well as their personal lives.
This includes books, sensory items as well as tactile items to keep at their table groups. After the pandemic the students are lacking social skills and teachers are filling the gaps.
