My Project
Flexible seating is beneficial for students. A group of students sit with me daily during our small group time. This is special time each day where I have the opportunity to work with directly with a small group (1-5) students. We work on specific reading and writing skills. The students usually rock on their chairs and fidget. Although this time is important, it can also be stressful for children.
Making sure the students are comfortable would help with their academic success.
Many 5th graders have difficulty sitting still. The wobble stools and yoga ball chairs would help with their concentration.
The two types of chairs that I have selected will help my students achieve academic success during small group time.
