Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This will be my 14th year teaching at Moreno Elementary, 4th year teaching 5th grade math and science. I teach for a Title I school and have remained at my campus because I love what I do and I enjoy making a difference in my community.

This project includes the essentials needed to give my classroom a mini-makeover, such as a new area rug, as well as some organizational tools like clipboards and a clipboard organizer.

I have also included gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers so that I can purchase science materials; what better way then to also be able to support other teachers and their small business.

My students will enjoy working in a classroom environment that is welcoming and organized. The science resources will allow them opportunities to learn hands on in a simplified way.
