Most of my students are English language learners and are often reading at least 1-2 levels below their recommended reading level. I feel that having new books that interest them will motivate them to practice their reading, thus increase their fluency, which in turn increases their confidence. Also, fourth grade students struggle with fractions, which is a skill brought down from fifth gradre, as it is still very abstract for them. I feel that by providing engaging games and opportunities to practice they can have fun and learn at the same time. Your donation will directly affect my students learning opportunities in a positive way!
