My Project
I am so excited to be moving up to 5th grade with my current students next year. As I will be staying in the same room, my goal is to refresh my classroom so they feel like they are in a new environment.
One thing I learned about this group is that we struggle to keep our desks organized!
I am hoping to move to chair pockets to make organization and moving seats easier! I also have many students with sensory issues, so to give them a better environment to learn in, I am hoping to move to lamps instead over overhead lights. I also give them many timers and visuals to ease anxiety. The big timer and batteries will help make this easier! We use white boards for all of our math lessons, which means we go through materials very quickly! I would love to restock this for next year!
I hope to spend the summer creating a more welcoming, challenging, and upgraded classroom to spend the 2025/2026 school year with this amazing group of students!
