Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project will help me prepare for my first year of teaching this fall. I aim to create a classroom that fosters creativity, allows the students to take ownership of their learning, and creates successful, resourceful students. These materials will be used as manipulatives, classroom organization, and student supplies. These materials will allow me to create the classroom environment I believe will be most conducive to student learning.
As a first-year teacher, I strive to create an environment for my students that allows them to be successful and feel loved every day.
These supplies will allow me to create those resources for students to find success in fifth grade, and these materials will help me create an organized, calm classroom that allows my students to learn.
My future students are the reason that I chose to go into teaching. I look forward to seeing my students learn and grow every year, and I appreciate any support I receive to reach my classroom goals. My classroom is one of the most important things to me because it sets the tone for my teaching and, to some degree, how prepared my students are to learn.
